CIU is a keypad display to be installed within consumers home when the main meter, as MCU, metering and control unit, is installed away from the consumers. This split type prepaid metering offers utility users and service providers great convenience and enhanced revenue protection by inspecting and maintenancing meters with no need to enter consumers' premises.
