Multi - Function Credit Mode Prepaid Electric Meter Build In Latching Relay
The CA368-M is the next generation of prepaid electricity meters and they can offer a range of intelligent functionality. It is a digital meter that records your usage in hourly increments. This allows for complex billing to be applied such as Time of Use (TOU) and Demand kVA charges.
The CA368-M operates in prepayment mode through connection with a back-end central server. Tariff, free basic unit, repayment and disconnection rules are configured on server side. Automatic meter reading for balance verification is carried out as a scheduled task from the central server from time to time. Consumers are allowed to check their balance anytime via access to an online account and to use a diversity of payment channels such as point of sale kiosk, online payment ( need collaboration with bank), or any third party payment platform that interfaces with the vending merchant system within the central server, to purchase credit. The credit is remotely topped up by the server once transaction is confirmed. This feature provides a utility and service provider dynamic monitoring and control over the supply and offers the consumers utmost convenience to buy electricity and budget their usage as well.
The CA368-M works with a plug & play wireless communication module. A utility and service provider can select from Power Line Carrier (PLC) Radio Frequency (RF) LoRa, and GSM according to local infrastructure conditions. The module unit is replaceable and easy to repair.
