Multi-vendor smart prepayment electricity vending system improved cash-flow easy pay cost saving
Calin's innovative and multi-vendor smart prepayment solution allows utilities to successfully implement prepaid metering and gain from its new marketing possibilities, enhanced customer satisfaction and cash-flow optimization. The solution is built around data communication, customer care, rating & charging and billing & payments.
The core and bottom part of the pyramid is STS compliant AMI smart meter that connects to the head-end server (HES) through available communication facilities. The Calin vending server situated as part of HES is the brain of entire setup as well as a hub joint with any other third party vendor systems. These third party systems are including but not limited to internet banking, unattended vending terminals, automatic teller machines, GSM cellphone, Paypal, Wechat, etc. Entering into agreement with these companys to interface with their platform through API (Application Interface) to exchange consumer and transaction data, vending can be expanded to all these vendors platforms. For consumers, they just need to utilize whatever seems convenient to you to start the payment application, the transaction will be done through APIs with third party vendor where consumers virtual money is kept. Cash-flow is generated as electronically among different vendors' platforms. It is a 24/7/365 full time accessible purchase with no limit by physical point-of-sale office hours. Once the transaction is done in Cloud, the purchased value will be automatically top-up to the meter through the existing AMI communication channels to the meter with no need for consumer to input on their own.
It is evolving as the meter is going keypad less as more and more connected into smart metering systems.
