This is two paralle channels setup : with hybrid meter operates with a concentrator to carry out AMR tasks for billing data and IHD with appliance control interacting with the head-end server for usage data exchange and load control purpose. The utility company can remotely override the consumer and do the load shedding to balance the grid supply at peak hours.
