The CA368-C is a card type prepayment three phase four wire electric meter. It works with 100 Amp per phase with 3DES encrypted CPU card and it is finished in BS footprint enclosure of IP54 rating. The meter is intended for residential and light commercial or industrial submetering scenarios. It is a high profile integration of precision metrology and security technologies.
The meter is built with a modular commnication unit for PLC (power line carrier), RF (radio frequency), MODBUS, and GSM networks. This wireless feature allows a utility or a service provider to choose proper communication according to local conditions and thus get meter connected to AMR AMM AMI systems. Data exchange with the server occurs from time to time when the meter is connected to the server, providing valuable as well as critical information of supply status and grid situation.
