Compact Single Phase Kwh Meter Din Rail Digital Electric Meter Remote Control
The DDSY168-S is an international standard 35 mm Din Rail mounted prepaid watt-hour meter . It has a broad current range starting from 5 to a maximum of 80Amp and maintains 30 Vm withstand of the rugged RF immunity, which allows it to operate in most harsh environments.The meter is used for a broad range of prepayment metering applications in submetering and tenants environments. Calin is now supplying this meter and design to many other NON-STS meter manufactuers.
The DDSY168 -S operates with a keypad based display namely customer interface unit (CIU) to be installed within consumers premises when the main body meter, MCU, Metering and Control Unit, is installed outside. This split setup offers utility users and service providers great convenience for inspecting and maintenancing meters without entering consumers' houses.
The MCU connects with the CIU via PLC( Powerline Carrier Communication). This wireless connection greatly reduces the cost as well as complexity of installation and deployment., and most importantly prevent the potential tamper.
